Intraoral Cameras

Intraoral cameras are advanced, handheld tools used by dentists to capture high-resolution images of a patient’s teeth and gums. These small cameras can easily navigate inside the mouth, providing clear, detailed views of areas that are difficult to examine with the naked eye. The images are displayed on a screen in real-time, allowing patients to see what the dentist sees, which helps improve understanding and involvement in their treatment decisions. Intraoral cameras are useful for diagnosing issues like cavities, cracked teeth, gum disease, and more, and they also help with accurate record-keeping for future treatments.

Oral Cancer Screening

Oral cancer screening is a quick, non-invasive examination performed by a dentist to detect early signs of oral cancer. It involves visually inspecting the mouth, lips, tongue, and throat for any abnormal tissue, sores, or discoloration, and may include feeling for lumps or irregularities. In some cases, additional tools like special lights or dyes are used to highlight suspicious areas. Early detection through regular screenings significantly increases the chances of successful treatment, making it an important part of routine dental care, especially for patients with risk factors like tobacco use or a family history of cancer.

Digital Impression System

Digital impressions are a modern alternative to traditional dental molds, using advanced scanning technology to create precise, 3D images of your teeth and gums. These scans are quick, comfortable, and more accurate than traditional impressions, eliminating the need for messy materials. Digital impressions are commonly used for crowns, bridges, Invisalign, and other dental restorations, improving the fit and reducing the number of adjustments needed. This technology streamlines the process, ensuring a more efficient and comfortable experience for patients.

Digital X-Rays

Digital X-rays are a modern dental imaging technology that captures detailed images of your teeth and jaw using significantly less radiation than traditional X-rays. These images are instantly available on a computer screen, allowing dentists to quickly and accurately diagnose issues such as cavities, bone loss, or impacted teeth. Digital X-rays are safer, faster, and more environmentally friendly, improving both patient care and treatment planning.

CEREC® One Visit Restorations

CEREC Same Day Crowns provide a fast and efficient solution for restoring damaged teeth in just one visit. Using advanced CAD/CAM technology, the dentist captures precise digital impressions, designs a custom crown, and mills it from high-quality ceramic right in the office. This process typically takes under two hours, eliminating the need for traditional molds, temporary crowns, and multiple appointments. Once the crown is ready, it is bonded to the tooth, offering a durable, natural-looking restoration that ensures a perfect fit and immediate results.

3D Cone-Beam Imaging

3D Cone-Beam Imaging is an advanced dental technology that provides highly detailed, three-dimensional images of the teeth, jaw, and surrounding structures. Unlike traditional X-rays, this imaging technique captures a complete 360-degree view, allowing dentists to see precise angles and cross-sections for better diagnosis and treatment planning. It is particularly useful for procedures like dental implants, orthodontics, root canal therapy, and diagnosing complex dental issues. The scan is quick, comfortable, and uses lower levels of radiation compared to traditional CT scans, offering a safer and more efficient way to assess oral health.

3D Dental Printer

A 3D dental printer is an advanced technology used to create precise dental restorations, such as crowns, bridges, dentures, and even orthodontic models. Using digital scans of a patient’s mouth, the printer fabricates custom dental appliances layer by layer, ensuring accuracy and a perfect fit. 3D printing allows for faster production times compared to traditional lab methods and can produce restorations with high durability and natural aesthetics. This technology streamlines the workflow for dentists, reducing turnaround times for patients and providing a more efficient, customizable, and high-quality dental care experience.
